Third prize ($250 worth of gifts and prizes) went to Angela Nicholas.
Second prize ($500 worth of gifts and prizes) went to Philicia Pass.
Grand prize ($1,000 worth of gifts and prizes) went to Iris Rice.
The winners were drawn from among the completed 324 Passports by Smyrna's Mayor, Max Bacon. McEntyre's Bakery hosted the drawing event after the anniversary celebration and fireworks had to be canceled under threat of thunderstorms.
The mayor personally called each of the winners to congratulate them. He thanked the Shop Local Smyrna businesses who had donated the prizes and who participated in the first-ever Shop Hop, declaring the event a success.
Approximately 350-400 people participated in some part of the event, even through Saturday's rains. The 324 became eligible for the drawing by completing the "Passport," having it stamped at each location. Customers reported enjoying the competition.
Shop owners also said they enjoyed the Shop Hop so much they are planning a Holiday Hop in December.
