(1)  Yes, you can pick up a "Passport" at any of the shops. They are listed to the right of this post, or down below.
(2) Yes, anyone can participate. But you must be 16 or older to win the $1750 in prizes.
(3) Yes, you can do it in one day - or one hour if you're super-fast! :)  You don't have to do it over the two day period - pick whatever time is fun for you  - - and you do not have to be present to win.

Support your locally-owned Smyrna businesses Friday and Saturday, September 26 & 27 with this year's SHOP HOP.  Collect charms from each, enjoy giveaways and discounts, and meet your friends and neighbors, all on a two-mile "hop" along Concord Road.

Shops are providing winnings equaling $1,750 in gift certificates and gifts:

Grand Prize $1,000

Second Prize $500

Third Prize $250

If you've shop-hopped in Smyrna before, you're eager to get the newest charms! Each store offers a unique charm -  free when you spend at least ten dollars. Or you can purchase the charm itself for $3. Add them to the bracelet you already have. . . or pick up a beautiful new bracelet at Nest when you stop there.

What's a "Passport"?


A Passport is what you need to be entered to win any of the grand prizes. (See Passport image here.)  Pick up a Passport from any of the ten shops - start anywhere on the route. At each stop, have the

store stamp your "passport" with its unique stamp. To win, you must visit each store and have your passport stamped there.  All the shops have passports to share. You can pick up your passport in advance, but shops will be stamping them only on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 26 & 27.

In what order do I hop?

You can start anywhere along the route - all the stores have passports to give out.  You can start anywhere, go in any order, and drop off your completed passport at any of the stores.

 

Which stores are ShopHop shops?

The ten participating shops are listed to the right. You can see them on the route map.  (Route map is on the back of your Passport too.)  The stores include: Vickery Hardware, Nest Gifts & Garden, Heart and Sole, Love Street Gifts, Going Gear, Rev Coffee, Jonquil Sporting Goods, Floral Creations,Wallpaper & Stuff, Nutrition King & Oasis

When can I hop?

The ShopHop 2014 is being held on Friday and Saturday, September 26 & 27.  You can use the whole time to get your passport stamped, or do it all in one day. It starts Friday whenever the first store opens and ends at 6 p.m. on Saturday. 

When are the prizes drawn?

When the ShopHop is over at 6 on Saturday, we'll collect all the completed Passports. The entries will be checked to make sure each stamp is present and the entry is legible.  Then a drawing will be held to determine the Grand, Second and Third prizes.  You will be contacted that night if your passport is drawn. (So be sure your contact information is correct and legible!)

How many Passports can I enter?

Only one Passport per person. You cannot have your friend's passport stamped for them - they need to go to each shop themselves.

What are the restrictions?

Anyone can hop!!  Anyone can get a Passport and have it stamped. But you must be at least 16 to enter your passport into the drawing.

Why else is the ShopHop great to do?

 Hoppers always say how much fun it is, to get out and "compete."  You meet and interact with your local business owners as well as other shop-hoppers in your community. Plus, shops have giveaways, and special deals for ShopHoppers.
